September is high season for travel to Milan. Although we have avoided the main Fashion’s week events, there is still pressure on accommodation availability due to other overlapping international fairs. We recommend interested participants to book their accommodation as early as possible to avoid incurring in high accommodation costs. Short-term rental solutions (e.g., AirBnB-style) can also be cost effective.
We also recommend considering accommodation solutions along the underground Metro line M1 (red line) and line M5 (lilac line), since both provide fast connection to the MonteRosa91 venue at station “Lotto”.
One-week travel passes (Monday to Sunday) are available at 18.50€ and three-day tickets cost 15.50€. These are good on all public transportation throughout the city and can be bought either via App or at any metro station, more information at the ATM website.

A few hotels that we believe to offer good quality service and that are relatively close to the venues are listed below. This is not an exhaustive list and participants are encouraged to also search through usual accommodation channels.
Note that the City of Milan charges a room occupancy tax of 7€/day/person for 3* and 10€/day/person for 4* accommodations.

Venue address: Via Monte Rosa 91. Reach by Metro station Lotto (on the M1 and M5 lines) or bus 78.
Mokinba hotels agreed to guarantee a fixed rate to participants of the conference that includes breakfast and all expenses except City’s room occupancy tax. Rooms are limited and on a first come first served basis.

This is 20 minutes ride on the underground metro. However, it is 15 minutes’ walk form Central Railway station and 6 minutes’ walk to the conference dinner site.
Hotel Campion (3*). Viale Berengario 3. Small and cosy place with gentle personnel. This is 10-15 minutes walk to the conference venue, very close to CityLife mall and park.
